t minus 3 hours and counting...

i am sooooo excited! in a little less than 3 hours i will be signing up for this. i have been waiting since march to sign up for this. i was not able to go this year because of tax season and i almost peed myself when i found out that in 09 it would be held AFTER tax season! so, this day has been on my calendar and i have been saving money since donna downey announced when registration would be. so tonight is the night. woo hoo!!!

i <3 tillman

i am so addicted to reality tv. so, it's wednesday night and my latest reality indulgence is the show america's greatest dog. tillman is the awesome skateboarding bulldog that was on the show. he is the cutest!!! he has a lot of the same expressions and mannerisms as daisy did. he got voted off tonight. BOO!! but for the last month he has brought so much joy to us every week. way to go, tillman!

starting now...

so, how did i know that the 2 of you (jen and karen) would be the first to harrass me on here. i did in fact miss a few days and there is no date cause i am messing around with changing the way my blog looks - hence seeing daisy's rear end as a welcome when you arrive. i am hoping to get the new look and all of the glitches ironed out in the next week or so. so starting today, tuesday, july 29 i will be writing daily for the next 30 days. at the end i will be chosing one lucky person to receive a handmade quilt. we spent all day saturday at the beach - SO much fun. in spite of two sunscreen applications and sitting under an umbrella all day i brought home a lovely souvenir of sunburn all over my legs, back and shoulders. but the awesome day at the beach made it totally worth it. i will try to post some pics tomorrow. but it was a part of va beach that is relatively secluded and it was just awesome to do nothing. since it is in the wee hours of the morning (i guess technically it is now wednesday), i will sign off for now. see you later today.

i can dish it out AND take it...

so this one claims that i can dish out blog guilt and not take it. well, we will see. i am going to post something everyday for the next month and let's see who is put to shame. part of not posting is sometimes i feel like there is no one out there reading. so if you are reading this, leave a comment and give me some love. at the end of my month of DAILY blogs i will choose someone from my MILLIONS of readers to make a quilt for. how's that for a blog post?
