inspired recap...

last year i attended donna downey's inspired artist workshop as an attendee. it was such a great experience, even though i didn't finish a single project. this year i was broke but still wanted to be a part of this awesome weekend. i applied to teach a mini workshop - and if you are a regular, you know how that turned out - and decided to volunteer. even if i had to schlep boxes all weekend, i wanted to be there. i totally stepped out of the box by rooming with 2 ladies that i have never met (hi karen & cindy!) and carpooling with four ladies from beach scrapbooks who i only knew in passing.
so i am begging you to step out of your comfort zone and push your limits... because for me, it turned out fab! i know that i will be friends with the beach girls for years to come. my class was so incredible... such fun women and encouraging friends. if you are the slightest bit crafty, i would encourage you to sign up for this weekend... you will push your limits, but you just might fall in love with art and a few friends.
be brave, friends...

Bummed I had to miss this year, but yes, it is totally a weekend for anyone and everyone who just wants to have fun and be creative. Any word on which weekend/where it will be next year?

Hello my new friend...I was thrilled to be in your class and we made such a racket cheering for you even before we knew it was the first time you were teaching. The class was fun and just loved how you taught so it was clear and easy to follow. Brilliant! I'll think of you as I stitch my towel with fond memories.
